We have the opportunity for a Communications & Events Coordinator to join our Marketing & Communications department here at Tokio Marine Kiln. You will report to the Head of Marketing & Communications and will manage TMK’s company events (virtual and in-person) and corporate hospitality programme, and support internal and external communications activities.

The role includes responsibility for:

  • Designing and running the corporate hospitality programme, including coordinating and managing both small- and large-scale corporate events (virtual and in person) for internal and external clients, including monthly town halls, masterclasses, recognition awards, management and coverholder forums.
  • Monitoring event budgets, sourcing and booking venues, proposing and securing approvals, and sourcing collateral, gifts and prizes.
  • Producing detailed plans for events including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing requirements and budgets, as well as managing event and supplier contracts, governance and payment processes.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date status lists for each event, ensuring insurance, legal and health and safety obligations are adhered to.
  • Providing communications and marketing support by keeping the internal and external events planner up to date, in addition to preparing, distributing, and monitoring emails for internal and external audiences.
  • Drafting content where required, producing simple graphics for social media posts, assisting the team in uploading content to key channels including our intranet, websites, and social media.
  • Contributing ideas for and supporting the delivery of campaigns and promotional initiatives.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience within corporate event management and may hold qualifications in any marketing or communications-related discipline. Experience working within the insurance/London market is preferred, as are design capabilities such as Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, InDesign.
