New Relic is seeking a Director for the EMEA Marketing team. This role reports to the VP Global Field & Regional Marketing. As Director of Marketing for EMEA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our regional marketing strategy. Your leadership will drive the expansion of New Relic’s presence in the dynamic and rapidly evolving EMEA observability software market. We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in driving both pipeline generation and brand awareness across digital demand gen, field marketing, partner marketing, customer marketing and PR communications functions. You’ll have a passion for technology, and a commitment to exceeding goals, surpassing industry standards and running a best-in-class regional marketing organisation. You have rich experience in managing cross-functional marketing teams, in B2B enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) and account based marketing (ABM) and solution led selling, as well as a good understanding of Salesforce CRM and Marketo Marketing Automation platforms.
What You'll Do:
- Be the centre of excellence for a team of EMEA geographically dispersed digital, field, customer and communications professionals to ensure the team receives the professional development, skill based training, and enablement of the GTM plan to be a best-in-class organisation.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of New Relic's product, market position, personas, competition, and market trends for adapting and optimising the global marketing plan in the EMEA market.
- Sales, operations, and adjacent sales development (SDR) and Global marketing teams will be your key allies.
- Partner closely with regional sales leadership to curate the region's plans on a quarterly basis.
- Set clear objectives and KPIs to meet goals, regularly present in regional meetings and oversee end-to-end program management.
- Utilize the US-based marketing team and local partners to create demand and generate leads across various channels.
- Optimise the field channel mix to respond to changes in the market.
- Evaluate program success for future planning and effective budget management.
- Act as the main point of contact and enablement for the EMEA sales team, ensuring effective communication of marketing plans, goals, metrics, and results.
- Ensure strategic alignment with the local sales leaders to achieve lead and pipeline targets per segment and geo.
- Proactively collaborate with various marketing teams to plan and execute on a variety of marketing tactics including: industry tradeshows, executive conferences, New Relic-owned events, partner events, regional demand generation and ABM programs, and customer-focused content.
Who You Are:
- A leader who consistently applies a growth mindset to execute a multi-touch, multi-channel go-to-market strategy, surpassing both goals and industry standards.
- In depth experience working across all markets in EMEA.
- Thrive on data and engage with systems to collect, analyze and share data relative to your programs for pipeline planning.
- Strong experience with field marketing, demand generation, and operations/analytics within B2B Enterprise SaaS.
- Demonstrated second-line leadership experience and experience successfully navigating dotted-line relationships.
- Proven experience partnering directly with executive sales leadership.
- Experience with CRM (Salesforce) and Marketo (Marketing Automation) platforms is a must.
- Experience of creating and running account based marketing (ABM) campaigns for enterprise and strategic segments is essential.
- Ability to travel across the region.
