The primary purpose of this job is to deliver Mission Assurance support across assigned bids and projects/programmes, monitoring progress of Software and System aspects of complex system development for technical and process compliance with a focus on oversight, and acceptance of system deliverables. This role has the authority to prevent the release of deliverables until accepted standards are achieved.

Role responsibilities:
- Conduct MA/QA activities during business acquisition and programme execution in accordance with company processes and procedures.
- Provide independent oversight on assigned bids/programme to ensure compliance with all required external standards, internal command media and contractual requirements in accordance with the programme Quality Management Plan.
- Participate in bid and programme Gate Reviews to assist the teams in achieving mission success.
- Work with project teams, Supply Chain staff and the MA Team to assure Supplier Quality, including supplier corrective actions (SCAR) activities and ongoing supplier performance KPI monitoring.
- Establish effective relationships with key supplier quality personnel.
We are looking for:
- Quality Assurance experience, ideally in a software/systems engineering environment.
- Experience of UK MOD assurance requirements and working practices.
- Track record of delivering to identified Quality Assurance requirements.
- Experience of quality improvement activities, including Lessons Learnt, 8D RCCA, 5-WHYS.
- Experience of risk identification and reporting.
