In your role as Spare Parts Account Manager you are responsible for the pro-active sales of spare parts, which you ensure through self-developed sales campaigns in cooperation with marketing, by following up and analyzing the spare parts area as well as through your strong and convincing appearance towards customers. Furthermore, you will improve the representation towards the customer through marketing-related measures (online presence, uniform presentations, creation of flyers, etc.).
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Increasing the spare parts business through proactive sales-promoting measures (e.g. increasing the quotation closing/hit rate) and developing new sales strategies
- Carrying out various analyses/evaluations to identify potential for improvement and growth opportunities
- Independent planning and implementation of customer visits and customer presentations
- Responsible for monthly forecast planning for incoming orders
- Planning and implementation of sales campaigns in close cooperation with your counterparts in the various markets and marketing
- Development of strategic partnerships
- Joint development of a uniform sales team within the team
- Increasing the representation of the Spare Parts division
- Documentation and maintenance of the corresponding leading tools in the SP area (CRM/Salesforce/SAP)
- Global coordination/meetings to identify further sales measures (global sales initiatives)
- Living a continuous improvement process to increase the spare parts business.
Qualification:
- Distinctive and strong communication skills (telephone + personal)
- Several years of experience in pro-active sales (preferably mechanical engineering)
- Very good analytical skills and market knowledge
- You are proficient in using the leading MS Office tools (Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/Teams etc.)
- You have a high sense of responsibility
- You are an organizational talent and work independently, goal-oriented, sustainably and in a structured manner.
- You are characterized by your team spirit and willpower and enjoy working together with your team colleagues and supporting departments to achieve goals.
