Join us as a Legal Claims Handler, where you'll support customers through complex legal claims, ensuring fair outcomes and keeping claims on track.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support customers through complex legal claims, assessing and validating indemnity, managing legal representation, and controlling costs.
  • Challenge legal representatives when necessary, make decisions on policy cover, and ensure claims progress smoothly.

Main responsibilities:

  • Validate legal expenses cover requests and determine appropriate options.
  • Authorize claim repudiation or rejection following business rules.
  • Oversee legal representatives' handling of claims to manage costs.
  • Manage customer expectations, explain decisions, and resolve concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and internal policies.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance reviews and provide feedback.
  • Identify and manage risks according to the Risk Framework.

What we're looking for:

Experience in legal expenses claims handling or related disciplines, or a Law degree, Cilex, or similar qualification.
