We\’re looking for a Warehouse Operative who will take responsibility for managing the Inbound and Outbound Operation processes and systems that keep our supply chain flowing effectively and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security (for example, setting up housekeeping standards in the office and warehouse areas, ensure that the standards are met)
- Control the stock of shipping supplies
- Processing orders and planning the dispatching of goods ensuring that the processes are completed as per the agreed KPI’s
- Maintain Warehouse admin function (Protean, Excel, Dispatcher, DPD, Outlook)
- Ensure that weekly audit of dispatch areas is completed
- Liaise with Bybox Team, Engineers and transport companies when required
- Make sure inventories are accurate
- Maintain ‘no goods on the floor’ policy
- Maintain a daily stock check
About You
- Knowledge of Lean principles
- NVQ level 2 Warehousing
- No prior warehouse experience is required for this role. As long as you have a positive attitude and are willing to learn, this could be the job for you!
A bit about the role:
Location – Hitchin, Herts
Hours – 37.5 hours per week, but flexibility will be required to meet the demands of the role.
