Location: Based at Redcar Hospital, covering call-outs to Sedgefield Hospital

Contract: Full time, permanent, 38.75 hours Monday to Friday

Your new role

About the role:

  • You will work as part of a flexible team with continuing responsibility for the provision of a comprehensive, high quality property maintenance service to all relevant facilities.
  • You will have a designated core skill (Joiner / Joinery) and will be expected to lead in this area but will also be expected to undertake any property maintenance work within your range of competence.
  • Service and repair of doors, windows, and general building fabric.
  • Service and repair of plumbing systems.
  • Small plaster repairs and painting.
  • Service and repair of internal fixtures and fittings.
  • PPM across relevant sites
  • Reactive service calls across relevant sites.

What you’ll need:

  • Qualified Joiner with experience in installation and maintenance work.
  • Health & Safety awareness
  • Fire Door Training would be an advantage
  • Excellent Customer Care
  • Ability to work on own initiative, work safely at all times and work within a team.
  • Valid UK driving license
  • The successful candidate will require an Enhanced DBS Check before starting in the job.
