Day Support Worker Mental Health Rehabilitation – Brookhaven & The Hamptons Bamber Bridge, Preston
Full-Time Day Shifts – 38.5 Hours Per Week
£12.60 per hour / £25,225.20 per year
7:45am – 7:45pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

As a Support Worker, you will:
- Provide person-centred care in a rehabilitation setting.
- Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
- Support residents with meaningful daily activities and community engagement.
- Assist with emotional, social, and practical needs.
- Work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team to provide consistent support.
- Promote independence, self-confidence, and relapse prevention strategies.
- Encourage and support access to education, employment, and leisure opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a mental health or rehabilitation setting.
- Confidence in building rapport with residents and the wider team.
- A strong understanding of person-centred, quality care.
- A positive, supportive approach with a focus on recovery and inclusion.
- Knowledge of formal legal frameworks, including Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, Community Treatment Orders, and relevant sections of the Mental Health Act.
