Bromley Council is seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional to lead its Environmental Health & Licensing services on an interim basis. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing regulatory services across environmental health, licensing, public protection, and associated functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational management of the Environmental Health & Licensing teams.
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with legal requirements, best practice, and council policies.
- Develop and implement service improvement plans and manage performance across the department.
- Lead on complex regulatory issues and act as the council's principal advisor in relevant matters.
- Support the council's wider public protection agenda, contributing to health and wellbeing outcomes for residents.
