Location: South Manchester covering Salford, Trafford Park, Urmston, Irlam, and Carrington
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday (expected 35-40 hours per week)
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic HGV 2 Class 2 HIAB Driver for a large, well-known builders' merchant to deliver to business and residential customers in and around Salford, Trafford Park, and Greater Manchester.
Class 2 HIAB Driver responsibilities:- Securing loads, understanding height restrictions, and legal height limits
- Making 5-6 drops per day to building sites, using HIAB Lorry Loader
- Driving responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws
- Conducting daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance
- Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress
- Completing paperwork accurately as instructed
- Experienced HIAB Operator Certificate with BRICK GRAB and REMOTE
- Cat C Licence (Category C - Class 2)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's)
- Full UK Driving licence, held for at least 1 year
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Company pension
- Free on-site parking
- BACS transfer
