About the Role
We are seeking a Test Analyst (Manual) with hands-on experience in customs declarations and freight forwarding to join our client's expanding Quality Assurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from the freight/customs sector who is looking to move into IT and grow a career in software quality assurance. While prior experience in QA or testing is a bonus, it’s not required—our client is committed to providing full training for individuals who bring strong domain expertise and a passion for technology and quality.

What You’ll Do
- Apply your freight forwarding or customs operations knowledge to manually test real-world logistics software.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality releases.
- Identify, report, and track software issues with clarity and precision.
- Build your technical skills and gain hands-on experience with modern QA practices and tools.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Experience:
- Strong understanding of UK customs procedures and/or freight forwarding workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Clear verbal and written communication.
- A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for learning new skills and technologies.
Nice-to-Have (But Not Essential):
- Previous experience in a QA or software testing role.
