E.ON Next is seeking a dynamic and hands-on leader to spearhead the migration of our customers onto a cutting-edge new Smart metering product. As our Migration Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and successful transition for our customers to a new Smart product. You will be instrumental in the planning, execution, and validation of the migration, working in a hands-on capacity to overcome challenges and deliver results. Here’s a Taste Of What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading Migration Strategy & Execution: Develop, plan, and execute comprehensive migration strategies for transitioning customers to a new product, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
  • Hands-on Migration Management: Directly engage in the technical and procedural aspects of the migration, troubleshooting issues and actively contributing to solutions.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise migration data and metrics to inform decisions, identify trends, and optimise migration processes for future phases.
  • Stakeholder & Dependency Management & Communication: Collaborate closely with technology, business, compliance, operational teams, other programme Migration Leads and third-party vendors to ensure alignment and clear communication throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with migration activities, ensuring robust contingency plans are in place.
  • Process Optimisation: Continuously review and refine migration processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve the customer experience.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure all migration activities adhere to regulatory obligations and E.ON Next standards.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Ability to work at pace, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving requirements in a dynamic environment.
  • A hands-on approach, willing to dive into the detail and actively resolve challenges.
  • Experience working within a regulated industry is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Smart metering processes and the energy market is a plus.
