We are looking for an Account Director to join our Corporate team. As an Account Director, you'll have the opportunity to take a leading role with one of the world’s biggest technology businesses, working with an unparalleled team of top agency talent on two huge clients. This is fantastic opportunity for a Senior Account Manager or an existing Account Director with a corporate and technology specialism who is a strong media consultant, engaged in the media landscape and with exceptional leadership skills to play a pivotal role on two of Ketchum’s top 10 accounts.
What you’ll do:
- Clients: Own the development and execution of strategic external PR plans tailored to each client's business goals and sector, providing senior counsel to clients on reputation, media strategy, messaging, and stakeholder engagement and ensuring PR strategies align with the UK media landscape, business context, and regulatory environment.
- Media Relationships: Cultivate and leverage strong UK media contacts across national, trade, and broadcast outlets and drive high-quality media coverage for clients, proactively and reactively. Anticipate media trends and advise clients on how to stay relevant and visible in the news agenda.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to grow existing accounts through proactive ideas, additional services, or campaign expansions.
- People Focus: Lead, mentor and motivate junior and mid-level team members, ensuring high performance and growth.
- Financial Acumen: Manage fee forecast, develop SOWs, handle budgets.
What we’re looking for:
- PR Expertise: Previous experience in a corporate comms environment, ideally gained in-agency, with experience working on fast-paced global tech clients, with experience in building and leading teams. Experience in running LinkedIn profiles for senior executives would be hugely advantageous.
