Pinnacle Recruitment are currently seeking a Section Engineer for one of our most successful clients to work on a large scale rail infrastructure project based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an Engineer looking to take the step up from Site Engineer to Section Engineer, or a successful Section Engineer looking to continue their development with a fast moving contractor.

What you will be expected to do:

  • Contribution to the safety/environmental/sustainability standards of the works on the relevant sites.
  • Management of the Quality and Assurance aspects of the works.
  • Implementation of the project programme and possession plan.
  • Supervision and management of staff, operatives and plant (including Subcontractors).
  • Engineering management of the works.
  • Awareness and contribution to implementation of BS11000 Collaborative Standard.

What our client is looking for:

  • A relevant Engineering degree.
  • Previous Rail project experience.
  • Good level of numeracy and IT skills – MS Office, Word, Excel etc.
  • Strong team player who is self-motivated and able to communicate with people at all levels.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Ideally hold a PTS card.
