Your Role and What You'll Be Doing
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with business goals.
- Website Management: Oversee the Irwin Mitchell website, ensuring high-quality content and outstanding user experience.
- User engagement & Conversion: Develop and implement strategies to build audiences, drive engagement and improve conversion rates.
- SEO Performance: Lead SEO initiatives to enhance search engine rankings and organic traffic.
- Sitecore Migration: Manage the migration of our website to Sitecore Cloud, ensuring a smooth transition, building the skillset in the team and leveraging Sitecore capability.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of digital experts, including demand generation, SEO, content, UX, CRO, and front-end developers.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and Analyse website performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to drive improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the cross-functional leadership team to ensure cohesive digital marketing efforts.
- Client Acquisition: Drive an increase in new client acquisition and revenue generation through targeted digital marketing efforts.
- Market Expansion: Support the firm's expansion into new markets by enhancing digital visibility and engagement.
- Brand Awareness: Increase brand awareness and online presence through effective digital campaigns.
About You
- Proven experience in a senior digital marketing role within a large organisation (£300m turnover / 3000 + employees).
- Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C markets.
- Strong understanding of paid and organic channels with experience in SEO, content management, UX, CRO, and digital marketing strategies, including latest thinking in AI and how this is evolving the search space.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to move at pace and deliver new customer acquisition in earlier roles.
- Commercial mindset with a focus on achieving business growth.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing and online engagement strategies.
- Influencing and managing digital change and adoption.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- High level of emotional intelligence and adaptability.
