MCS Group is working with one of their closest clients in their search for a talented UX/UI Designer. You will play a key role in designing intuitive, engaging web applications and websites - from discovery through to design. You will work closely with clients, helping shape their ideas into user-friendly digital products with a specific focus on using Figma. This is a hybrid role in Belfast city centre.
The Role
- The UX/UI Designer will lead and contribute to the design of web apps and websites from concept through to handoff.
- You will collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders (from multiple industries) to understand user needs and business goals.
- You will create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma.
- You will conduct design reviews, iterate based on feedback, and maintain consistent visual design standards.
- You will work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of your designs.
- Help evolve and maintain design systems and component libraries.
What We’re Looking For:
- You will have lots of commercial experience in UX and User Interface design.
- You will have a strong portfolio of web apps and responsive website designs (this will be important for the interview process!).
- You will be proficient in Figma (including components, auto-layout, and prototyping).
- You will have strong communication skills and be comfortable working directly with clients and presenting design rationale.
- A strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with basic user research or usability testing.
- Familiarity with tools like Webflow, Framer, or basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
