Great Bear (Part of the Culina Group) provides distribution services to FMCG clients. Customer-centric service focus is delivered through a site-level empowered culture.

We are now recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our team at Great Bear Harworth on a full-time and permanent position.

Shift: 4 on 4 off, 06:00-18:00.

Salary: £12.21 / £12.69 upon completion of MHE Training.

  • Pick stock and orders from set locations within the warehouse.
  • Load customer pallets onto trailers using MHE.
  • Ensure the correct amount of product is picked.
  • Maintain high levels of Health & Safety at all times.
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
  • Communicate effectively with Team Leaders and Managers.
  • Monitor and uphold housekeeping standards.
  • Ensure Health and Safety compliance by following risk assessment guidelines and reporting issues to the Team Leader and Manager.
  • Report damages in accordance with warehouse procedures.
  • Operate MHE equipment safely and in compliance with procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to operate all required MHE to meet operational needs.
  • Good verbal and numerical reasoning skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Adaptability to training and new procedures.
  • Conscientiousness and reliability.
  • A positive work attitude.
  • Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential.
  • FLT Licence is desirable.
