Join us, make a difference, and help shape the future of energy. Main Responsibilities Help develop EDFT\’s market views, models, and processes to support gas trading. Key responsibilities include: Collaborate with the gas analytics team, data engineers, traders, and global colleagues to develop models understanding short- and medium-term fundamental dynamics in European and global markets. Develop trading ideas based on fundamentals, statistics, and option pricing. Maintain high quantitative rigor in analysis and monitor accuracy over time. Create tools to monitor market developments and implied gas balances. Communicate views and findings effectively to traders, analysts, and management. Be flexible and adapt to changing conditions; responsibilities may evolve. Experience Required 3-5 years in an energy commodities role, with strong knowledge of European gas and LNG markets. Experience on a trading desk is advantageous. Proficiency in statistical analysis and quantitative techniques. Technical Requirements Advanced degree in engineering, sciences, mathematics, finance, economics, or equivalent experience. Skills in Excel, SQL, Python, and statistics. Person Specification Commercially aware. Proactive and motivated to drive positive change. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Good communication skills and confident presentation abilities. Highly numerate. Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. #J-18808-Ljbffr
