Angeloop is an exciting Business Intelligence startup on a mission to change the way early-stage companies interact with investors, helping them connect, complete funding rounds and manage growth. Angeloop is growing and we’re looking for a talented Rails developer to join our amazing team in London.
As our lead Rails developer you’ll have the opportunity to inject your knowledge and technical skills into the very core of the product, making a huge difference. We obsess over user experience and product, so you’ll need to be excited about working closely with the team and taking responsibility for shaping the platform. We use many of the latest technologies and embrace agile philosophies and tools. Everything we do is predicated on having a great team and a shared culture of learning.
You Are
- Self Motivated – You’ll be expected to manage your own time and constantly learn new technologies or improve upon existing ones.

- Analytical – You’re not afraid to expose your opinions and ideas to help improve the product.
You’ll have an excellent knowledge of Ruby-on-Rails, JavaScript, jQuery, working with APIs (Stripe, Xero, Quickbooks, Oauth2 etc.), test-driven development, performance, debugging, refactoring, design patterns and other important programming practices. You’re able to rapidly build high-quality, fast and secure features and work hard to stay ahead of the market.
