We are working with a very well established electrical contractor company. They are looking for a fully qualified experienced Solar Electrician to join the team covering the Haverhill and surrounding areas. They are a family run business that has been running for over 15 years, and they are now looking for a Solar Electrician to join and be the start of a new team of installation which is being built. An exciting role that will offer opportunities to develop and train to progress up to a more senior / lead role.

As a company, they have worked on many large refurb projects such as Canary Wharf, London rooftop bars and Holiday Inns. Within the role, you will be responsible for the installation of Solar PV and battery storage systems on domestic and some small commercial properties in the local area. You will need to be fully qualified with your 18th Edition, City & Guilds Level 3 & Solar PV Installation qualification.

You will be responsible for the timely and efficient installation of solar systems onto the roof and making off connections up to and including the inverter and battery (DC Cabling), as well as the installation of solar and battery systems. There will also be other electrical installation work available.

  • Install, maintain, and rewire electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant codes and regulations.
