WineGB is the national trade association for the English and Welsh wine industry, representing 500+ passionate growers and producers. As the voice of this dynamic and fast-growing sector, we champion our members through advocacy, marketing, events, and education.

We’ve recently rebranded to reflect the energy and ambition of our industry, and now we’re looking for a Communications Executive to help us tell our story to the UK and beyond.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, creative role for someone with a flair for storytelling and a background in PR, communications, and content creation. You’ll be at the heart of our communications strategy, working across internal and external channels to engage members, media, trade and government.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and evolve WineGB’s communications strategy
  • Lead content creation across emails, blogs, press releases, and member platforms
  • Manage internal member communications and media relations
  • Support major campaigns and events like English Wine Week and WineGB Awards
  • Enhance website content and guide social media strategy
  • Build relationships with journalists and coordinate vineyard press tours

What We’re Looking For:

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong eye for accuracy and detail
  • Proven PR experience in alcohol or FMCG (wine industry preferred)
  • A collaborative team player with strong time management
  • Knowledge of the UK wine industry (desirable)
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel (desirable)
