Role Overview: Huntsman is looking for a Production Technologist to join our team in Duxford. This role acts as a key link between the Production Management Team and other departments, focusing on process safety, productivity improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives. We seek highly motivated, proactive problem-solvers with strong technical skills and a passion for process engineering.

Role Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison between production and technical teams to enhance process safety, efficiency, and productivity.
• Drive LEAN and Six Sigma projects, supporting CAPEX and small-scale initiatives.
• Maintain high safety standards and ensure EHS compliance.
• Provide technical training and support to operators.
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve technical issues.
• Lead safety and quality investigations and CAPA initiatives.
• Review Process Instructions, SOPs, and Work Instructions for clarity and accuracy.

Experience and Competencies:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in a production environment, preferably in chemical, pharmaceutical, or aerospace sectors.
• Experience with process safety and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Experience in regulated production environments.
• Adaptability to shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.
