Role Description
This is a part time for a Paralegal working 4 days a week on site. We are a small niche firm which does Wills, Probate and property work.
The Paralegal will be responsible for:
1. Drafting Wills.
2. Administering estates
3. Arranging appointments for client meetings.
4. Preparing the Solicitor for meetings each to by:
a. Ensuring that you notify her which client is attending that day.
b. Putting the paper file on Solicitor’s desk.
5. Booking meeting rooms for the clients.
6. Giving quotes to new potential clients.
7. Undertaking good client care for existing clients by progressing their matters.
8. Acknowledging and responding to emails.
9. Drafting letters
10. Filing
11. Proofreading documents
12. Date stamping incoming post, scanning it on Leap and progressing it if unable drafting memo to Solicitor to
Qualifications
- Will drafting and Legal Document Preparation skills
- Effective Communication skills
- Research and Document Review skills
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a team and to put the client first
- Previous experience in Wills & Probate law is a plus
