As a key member of the Executive Committee, you will leverage your expertise to drive innovation, optimize pricing, and enhance our technical capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team, influencing the profitability and performance of our business while ensuring exceptional customer outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement technical pricing, data, and underwriting strategies aligned with organizational goals. Identify industry trends and emerging models to maintain competitive advantage. Oversee the end-to-end data strategy, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processes.
- Technical Oversight: Lead the development and optimization of underwriting, pricing, and data processes. Establish best practices for risk assessment and ensure compliance with UK standards. Analyse data to identify patterns, informing strategic decisions and driving innovation.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to align pricing strategies across the organization. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment. Work alongside AXA Group and other entities to implement best practices for pricing management.
- Performance Management: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies. Conduct regular reviews and adjustments to pricing models based on performance data. Ensure robust analysis is conducted to track key performance indicators.
- Leadership: Provide technical leadership and input into strategic planning processes. Serve as a key member of the UK Executive team, contributing to the overall AXA Partner UK strategy.
What you'll bring:
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change in a dynamic environment.
- Substantial technical expertise and insurance knowledge, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and pricing strategies.
- Experience in developing and interpreting financial models to assess pricing impact and profitability.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in statistical and data software such as Python and Power BI.
- Strong understanding of underwriting risk assessment, market knowledge, and compliance regulations.
- Degree level or equivalent experience.
