Albany Beck are hiring for a Product Owner with strong experience incharting technical analysis to lead the development of a front office programme to join the business and work with a leading Financial Services firm based in London. In this role, you will work closely with traders, quantitative analysts, and developers to deliver advanced tools for analysing market trends, identifying patterns, and making data-driven decisions. This is a unique opportunity to shape and enhance a high-impact product used directly by market professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Gathering requirements from stakeholders, including front office traders and analysts.
- Define and maintain the product roadmap to deliver industry-leading charting and technical analysis capabilities.
- Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and data engineers to design and implement innovative features for market visualization and analysis.
- Prioritise and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Conduct regular stakeholder reviews to gather feedback and incorporate improvements.
- Translate complex financial and trading concepts into clear, actionable deliverables for technical teams.
- Drive Agile processes, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and overall project success.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a financial services or trading-focused environment.
- Strong knowledge of charting and technical analysis tools (e.g., candlestick charts, Fibonacci retracements, MACD, RSI).
- Deep understanding of trading platforms, financial instruments, and market microstructure.
- Solid technical literacy to communicate effectively with developers (experience with charting libraries such as D3.js, Highcharts, or TradingView API is a plus).
- Experience working in front office environments, collaborating directly with traders and quantitative professionals.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Preferably CMT or MSTA qualified
