About us: Our client is the number one Invoice Finance brokerage in the UK, established in 2008 as part of a successful financial services group. They have helped thousands of businesses across the UK secure Invoice Finance facilities, from start-ups to international enterprises.
The role: With ambitious growth plans for 2025, they are looking to add an Invoice Finance Consultant to their team. You will be part of the internal sales team handling direct inbound enquiries from business owners across the UK seeking suitable lending facilities. Your role will involve assessing the prospects' requirements, considering current challenges faced by their businesses, and matching them with the most appropriate Invoice Finance solution from a panel of lenders.
Key requirements:
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all Invoice Finance products and stay updated on sector developments.
- Refer prospects to the most suitable lender based on specific criteria.
- Prepare written proposals for lenders outlining the company's current position and ongoing requirements.
- Monitor and maintain a pipeline of opportunities, liaising with lenders to ensure follow-up procedures are followed for prospects' benefit.
- Update all activities daily in the CRM system (Salesforce), prioritising workload for efficiency.
- Follow up with prospects to confirm lender contact, issuance of quotes, and understanding of presented solutions, enabling informed decision-making.
Candidate requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the commercial finance sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships over the phone with Directors and Senior Management.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- IT proficiency, especially with CRM systems like Salesforce.
