Regent College London is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Lecturer in Electrical Engineering to join our growing academic team. The Role

As a Lecturer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering engaging teaching across a range of electrical engineering modules. You'll support students both in person and online, contribute to assessment and quality assurance, and be involved in scholarship and continuous curriculum improvement.

  • Student Academic Support: Be the primary academic contact for a cohort of students, supporting their learning journey and progression. Address engagement and pastoral needs in collaboration with wider student services.
  • Academic Leadership: Line manage academic colleagues, allocate workloads, and contribute to staff development, recruitment, and induction.
  • Teaching & Curriculum Delivery: Design and deliver high-quality learning and teaching across undergraduate electrical engineering (with a reduced teaching load).
  • Assessment & Quality: Set, mark, and moderate assessments; contribute to assessment board preparation; review academic integrity cases; and enhance student feedback processes.
  • Programme Enhancement: Monitor module feedback, contribute to annual monitoring reports, and support continuous improvement in student outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Scholarship & Professional Development: Engage in scholarly activity relevant to your subject area and support the College's Research and Scholarship Plan.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant subject discipline
  • Experience managing academic programmes and supporting student development
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance in higher education
  • Fellowship of the HEA or willingness to achieve it within 12 months
  • Excellent teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Digital fluency, with experience using VLEs such as MS Teams, Moodle, or Blackboard
  • PhD (or near completion) or equivalent academic or professional standing
  • Experience in research, enterprise, or academic publication
  • Teaching qualification
