Recruitment Fox are proud to be representing our client, a highly respected organisation within the insurance and financial services sector, who are seeking a motivated and engaging Business Relationship Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced relationship-builder with strong telephone sales skills, looking to work with financial advisers, brokers and other professionals to deliver an excellent service and drive growth.
The Role
- Proactively manage a portfolio of existing and prospective broker accounts, developing trusted relationships
- Perform structured outbound account management via telephone, email and LinkedIn to maximise engagement
- Confidently promote the company's general insurance products and services to brokers, supporting them with queries and training needs
- Deliver webinars and online demonstrations to client firms as part of sales activity
- Use a CRM system to plan, record and manage all account activity
- Contribute ideas for service improvements by capturing broker feedback and sharing best practices within the team
- Support the sales and marketing team at industry events and conferences when required
- Handle inbound broker enquiries by phone, live chat or email, ensuring a responsive and professional service
About You
- Proven experience in telephone-based sales or account management roles
- Confidence in building rapport, influencing and persuading customers
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt your style to different clients
- Resilience and motivation to manage outbound contact lists effectively
- Experience using CRM systems
- A track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
- Good planning and organisational skills
- A customer-focused approach, committed to delivering high-quality support
- (Desirable but not essential) Knowledge of insurance, financial advice, broking, mortgages or banking sectors
