Our client is a leading Principal Contractor for Network Rail, delivering specialist electrical and plant services across the rail infrastructure sector. They are now looking for an experienced E&P Project Manager to join our growing team based at their head office in Folkestone, Kent. This is an exciting opportunity to lead critical projects throughout the South East, supporting their mission to deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality solutions across the railway.
The Role
As an E&P Project Manager, you will support the Senior Project Manager and oversee the safe, efficient delivery of electrical and plant projects across multiple sites. You will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining the high level of quality Fuse Rail is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of construction, maintenance, and design projects
- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and CDM obligations
- Promote and apply the Rail Management System across all projects
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers
- Monitor quality of work and compliance of assets
- Verify team and subcontractor competencies and ensure safe working practices
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all project data is reported correctly
- Support safety, environmental, and operational excellence across all worksites
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar E&P or rail infrastructure role
- Strong E&P bias – CRE/ETE background preferred
- Previous experience as a CRE or CEM is highly desirable
- Proven success managing complex delivery programmes in a safety-critical environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- In-depth knowledge of health & safety processes, railway standards, and compliance management
- PTS certification and Full UK Driving Licence required
- Membership of a relevant professional body preferred
- IT literate and confident with project reporting systems
