This is a full-time, on-site role for a motivated Residential Maintenance Supervisor to oversee Bayside Village, a 111-unit Section 8 apartment community in Newport, RI. This is a hands-on position responsible for overall care and maintenance of the community, focusing on preventative maintenance, apartment turnovers, construction projects, and customer service.
The Maintenance Supervisor should be capable of monitoring and evaluating the work of a small team to ensure goals are met and standards are maintained. Must be skilled at managing numerous vendors through effective prioritising, scheduling, and oversight.
Experience in the following required:
- 5+ years prior property management and supervisory experience
- Inventory management and cost-conscious decision making
- Basic carpentry, plumbing, drywall, and electrical
- Property upkeep and maintenance of exterior and interiors of buildings
