Our client, a car main dealer group, is on the lookout for an experienced General Sales Manager to join their business in Epsom and drive the sites sales performance to new heights. You must have proven experience of delivering sales results in a busy main car dealership.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Your primary responsibility as a General Sales Manager will be to maximise the sales and profitability of new and used vehicles and associated products.
  • You will be responsible for unleashing the potential of a stable sales team (6 sales executives, a Sales Controller and a Business Manager), stretching targets, ambitions and driving performance.
  • Achieving outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Motivating, managing, organising and encouraging new ideas and processes to increase performance.
  • Developing, managing and refining used vehicle sales policies.
  • Ensuring the optimum stock of vehicles.
  • Assisting in maintaining operational standards.
  • Ensuring fantastic relations are kept between the company and the brand partners.

You will be targeted around sales/profit performance and customer satisfaction performance.

Your Background & Skill:

  • At least 2 years main dealer GSM Experience
  • Have knowledge of modern business methods within a franchise dealership.
  • Hold a successful track record of coaching and mentoring a successful sales team.
  • Have excellent IT Skills.
  • Be organised and able to handle a busy sales environment.
