The predicted salary is between 18975 - 21000 Β£ per year.

27.5 hours per week, 8am – 2pm Monday – Friday

Β£25,531.28 pro rata (Β£18,975.95 actual)

12 month fixed term contract

What will you be doing in this role?

As a Repairs Advisor, you will provide an excellent front-line service to our customers, mainly over the telephone but also via email and face-to-face. You will triage requests for repairs, book in jobs and schedule appointments for our skilled trades people – Gateway PropertyCare. This is an β€˜in-person' role based at our offices on Preston Docks.

What We Are Looking For In You

  • Significant experience of working in a customer service role, ideally over the telephone
  • Fantastic IT skills, specifically around Microsoft products with the ability to quickly learn our in-house systems
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a focus on empathy and understanding when interacting with customers.
  • Ability to carry out basic fault finding over the phone through effective questioning and prompts

It Would Be Great If You Also Had

  • Experience of working in the social housing sector
  • Experience of planning and scheduling work
  • Knowledge of household repairs and maintenance, e.g. how to top up boiler pressure
