About Heracles: Heracles is the UK's first evidence-based longevity platform built specifically for men. We're creating a future where personalised, preventative, and pharmacological care is accessible from home - combining cutting-edge diagnostics, expert-led protocols and holistic education.
We address the three most critical and interconnected domains of men's health:
- Obesity & Metabolic Health
- Erectile Dysfunction
Our team includes leading specialists in endocrinology, urology, psychosexual therapy, and clinical nutrition - and we’re now looking to expand our GP-led clinical care with a doctor who is passionate about men’s health and lifestyle medicine.
Role Overview: You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients across the Heracles platform. This includes digital consultations, ongoing medical management, prescription oversight, and contribution to medical protocols. You’ll play a key role in improving outcomes for men facing early signs of cardiometabolic decline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Duties:
- Conduct asynchronous and synchronous (video) consultations with new and returning patients
- Diagnose and manage conditions related to low testosterone, obesity, erectile dysfunction, and preventative health
- Interpret blood test results and issue personalised treatment plans
- Prescribe and monitor medications including TRT, GLP-1s, and PDE5 inhibitors under PGDs and remote protocols
- Follow up on patient-reported outcomes and treatment efficacy
- Work with our pharmacy to ensure safe prescribing and timely fulfilment
- Ensure clinical documentation meets CQC standards
- Contribute to Heracles’ clinical SOPs and treatment protocols
- Attend monthly clinical governance meetings
- Escalate red flags to relevant specialists within our advisory network
- Collaborate with the product team to improve the digital consultation experience
- Provide clinical input for educational content (e.g. blood test explainer videos, lifestyle modules)
- Support internal training and best practice across the team
- Optionally, contribute to blogs, podcasts, or webinars as a clinical thought leader
Who We’re Looking For:
- GMC-registered GP with a valid licence to practise in the UK
- Minimum 3 years experience in General Practice
- Passion for men’s health, preventative care, or lifestyle medicine
- Comfortable working in a remote-first, digital platform
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident with basic technology (e.g. digital records, video consults)
- Prior experience with TRT, GLP-1s, or men’s metabolic health
- Background in functional medicine, health optimisation, or performance medicine
- Experience with video consultations
- Willingness to appear in educational content (podcast, blog, masterclass series)
Why Join Heracles?
- Help shape the future of preventative and men’s health in the UK
- Work alongside leading experts in urology, endocrinology, and nutrition
- Flexible schedule with remote working and part-time options
- Contribute to evidence-based innovation, not just symptom management
- Be part of an ambitious team building a platform with real impact
