AI71 is an applied research team dedicated to creating helpful and responsible AI agents for knowledge workers.
Working closely with our industry partners, our cross-functional teams of AI experts build products grounded in the cutting-edge research of our colleagues from the Technology Innovation Institute (TII).
About the role
We are hiring a Developer Advocate Lead to augment our team. They will drive our developer relations strategy and its execution, actively build and contribute to the AI 71 and Falcon community through various initiatives, and engage in the development and integration of open-source AI ecosystem projects.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership:
- Set and own the overall strategy to increase usage of Ask 71’s open-source AI products and their integration into the open-source AI ecosystem
- Define regional strategy on types of developers we will be focusing on based on regional sensitivities and vertical needs
- Devise programs in collaboration with Product Marketing to execute and localize growth initiatives for all products
- Serve as a thought leader externally and internally, providing guidance on best practices, industry trends and future potential to developers at scale
- Remain informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in AI, continuously updating your knowledge and skills.
Ecosystem Partnerships:
- Build and nurture a robust developer pipeline, collect valuable product feedback, and champion regional developer needs internally
- Engage with developers by presenting at and attending relevant conferences, meet-ups and events
- Work closely with the AI community to develop and maintain integrations, ensuring seamless compatibility and optimal performance.
Community Engagement:
- Lead developer relations initiatives and develop programs to engage the community.
- Educate developers on our platform through communication channels in partnership with Product Marketing
- Develop high-quality documentation, tutorials, and sample code that enable developers to effectively understand and utilize Ask 71’s AI\’s products and integrations.
- Contribute to the community by resolving issues, providing answers, and offering guidance to users, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Organize and participate in community events centered around Ask 71’s AI solutions.
Qualifications & profile:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Passion for AI, with a constant drive to stay up to date and ahead of the curve.
- Fluency in Python
- Familiarity with the AI ecosystem and popular technology stacks including AI orchestration tools, vector databases, and agent frameworks
- Familiar with the Pytorch and transformers architectures
- Proven experience working with AI or machine learning projects, demonstrating a solid understanding of the AI landscape.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and lead them to successful completion.
- Willingness for occasional travel to conferences or to represent AI71 at events
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
