Siamo Recruitment have partnered with a well-established Design and Manufacturing firm who actively promote business development to keep delivering bespoke products to their customers. They are looking for an agile, forward-thinking individual to join their team as a Trainee Powder Coater Technician and bring a fresh perspective to the business.
As a Powder Coater Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all products are produced to the highest quality standards, upholding excellent time keeping and continuously have the customers’ needs in mind. Salary: £25,000-£27,000
Hours: Monday to Friday – 06:45am to 15:00pm

The Powder Coater Technician will have the following responsibilities:
- Prepare powder coating materials and set up powder coating guns
- Applying the powder coating to steel windows and ancillary parts, making sure to monitor the thickness and consistency
- Operate shot blasting equipment to clean and prepare metal components
- Quality checking all products to highlight any imperfections
- Load coated components into curing bay and set appropriate timings
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Contribute to meetings and performance reviews
The ideal candidate for this role would have the skillset below:
- Previous experience in painting or powder coating is preferred
- Good hand-eye coordination and strong motor skills
- A proactive and energetic approach to work
- An optimistic, agile individual who can embrace change and invest into new work culture
- Excellent time management and communication skills

- A Full UK Driving Licence is essential
