Zetica have an opening for a confident and capable SHE Manager to lead our Safety, Health, and Environmental initiatives and ensure best-in-class compliance and performance across our operations. Beyond compliance, this is an opportunity to oversee and shape how safety, health, and sustainability are embedded into the fabric of our culture. This is a critical, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to ensure that our SHE commitments are robust, current, and proactive. The role is full-time, permanent, and fully based at our office. As such, we cannot support working from home.

Overview of responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain our SHE management system and obligations ensuring documentation is compliant, accessible, and controlled.
  • Advise senior leadership on SHE compliance and best practices, enabling the business to operate safely and legally.
  • Lead active and reactive monitoring activities, identifying shortfalls, analysing trends, and driving improvements.
  • Oversee inspections, audits, and investigations, and ensure findings are actioned and communicated.
  • Chair regular management review meetings focused on SHE performance.
  • Drive progress on environmental targets, including reducing our carbon footprint.
  • Manage and support the SHE team, including training and mentoring staff.
  • Handle complex SHE queries and contribute to tenders, audits, and client requirements.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Previous SHE experience: with strong knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations, incident investigation (including RIDDOR), and audit standards like RISQS, UVDB, and Van Excellence.
  • Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum), Diploma preferred. IOSH membership desirable.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized: able to juggle tasks without losing sight of compliance and deadlines.
  • A clear communicator: comfortable writing reports, delivering training, and engaging constructively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A natural leader: diplomatic, calm under pressure, and skilled in coaching and influencing others.
  • Environmentally aware: ready to support and drive progress on sustainability and carbon reduction goals.
