Location: Swindon & Gloucester Area

Contract Length: 6 Months

Rate: £180 – £190 per day (Outside IR35)

Payment: Weekly (Every Friday) – CIS Available

Expenses: Mileage (35p per mile) & Parking Reimbursed

Overview: We are currently seeking experienced Fire Stoppers for a 6-month subcontract role, working across residential sites in the Swindon and Gloucester area. This is a remedial fire stopping position, involving the use of Baston, mastics, and a range of industry-standard fire stopping materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out remedial fire stopping works on residential projects
  • Apply mastic, Batt & Mastic systems, and other passive fire protection solutions
  • Ensure all work is compliant with current fire safety regulations and project specifications
  • Accurately complete documentation and reports related to fire stopping work
  • Coordinate with site management and other trades when required

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (Essential)
  • Proven experience in fire stopping (remedial works preferred)
  • Own vehicle and tools
  • Valid Basic DBS Check (or willingness to obtain before start)
  • Ability to work independently and to a high standard
  • CSCS card preferred

  • Paid weekly every Friday
