Thornaby Hybrid Working – 2 days from home Flexible Start/Finish times Permanent

We seek a highly motivated PR Executive to join our dynamic team. From humble roots as a small boutique digital marketing agency to one of the fastest-growing PR focussed SEO agencies in the North. As a PR Executive, you will play a vital role in raising the visibility and profiles of our clients. The role is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced industry.

Responsibilities

  • PR Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies that align with our clients' goals and objectives. Manage budgets and meet the client's requirements as outlined in the brief. Create PR plans and timelines, and monitor their implementation to ensure effective execution.
  • Media Relations and Outreach: Reach out to various publications in relevant industries. Build strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers. Respond to inquiries promptly and provide accurate information to maintain positive relationships. React to news stories that can provide our clients with coverage.
  • Content Creation and Press Releases: Create engaging and persuasive PR content, including press releases, news articles and guest posts. Write and edit press releases, ensuring they are newsworthy, accurate, and tailored towards our clients. Create news through data and media analysis. Optimise PR content for search engines, incorporating relevant keywords and links.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience as a PR or Content Executive in similar roles is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to produce engaging and persuasive content tailored to different target audiences.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
