The Role

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentors to join our team. You will work closely with teachers to support pupils' learning and development in a nurturing environment.

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years' experience with children with special needs
  • Strong written, verbal, and numeracy skills (tested)
  • NVQ Level 2/3 (Scale 6) or Level 3 (Scale 7) or equivalent
  • Team player with initiative
  • Willingness to support children with challenging behaviours

Bonus Skills (Desirable)

  • Experience with multisensory and differentiated learning
  • Training in TEACCH, SCERTS, or similar approaches
  • Knowledge of motivational behaviour strategies

Your Responsibilities

  • Support teachers in the classroom
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support
  • Help deliver tailored lessons
  • Build strong relationships with pupils
  • Stay up-to-date with SEN best practices
