The Role
We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentors to join our team. You will work closely with teachers to support pupils' learning and development in a nurturing environment.
What You'll Need
- 3+ years' experience with children with special needs
- Strong written, verbal, and numeracy skills (tested)
- NVQ Level 2/3 (Scale 6) or Level 3 (Scale 7) or equivalent
- Team player with initiative
- Willingness to support children with challenging behaviours
Bonus Skills (Desirable)
- Experience with multisensory and differentiated learning
- Training in TEACCH, SCERTS, or similar approaches
- Knowledge of motivational behaviour strategies
Your Responsibilities
- Support teachers in the classroom
- Provide 1:1 or small group support
- Help deliver tailored lessons
- Build strong relationships with pupils
- Stay up-to-date with SEN best practices
