We are recruiting for a Geotechnical Laboratory Testing Specialist to join a leading consultancy on a 6-month contract based in Southampton.

You will carry out core soil tests to ISO standards, including:

  • Water content
  • Bulk density
  • Sieve analysis
  • Sedimentation
  • Particle density
  • Atterberg limits

Requirements:

  • Strong geotechnical lab experience
  • Solid knowledge of ISO testing procedures
  • Able to follow and deliver training
  • Confident supporting and mentoring junior staff
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and quality-focused
