A Senior Draughtsman with strong experience in architectural metalwork, mechanical, pipe, and structural drafting is required in East Kent.
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Hours: 7:30AM - 4:30PM, Monday to Friday
Start: ASAP
WFH: 1 or 2 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and produce detailed design drawings for architectural metal, pipework, mechanical, and structural elements.
- Use SolidWorks, Advanced Steel, and AutoCAD to create accurate models and detailed technical documentation.
- Carry out site surveys as part of the design and validation process.
- Maintain a high level of precision and consistency in all drawing outputs.
- Liaise with engineers, fabricators, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and clear communication.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Draughtsman or strong background in a similar draughting role.
- Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Advanced Steel.
- Solid understanding of architectural metalwork and fabrication processes.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator and team collaborator.
