Our client, a Freight Forwarder based in Folkestone, is looking to recruit an experienced Customs Coordinator. IPAFFS knowledge is required along with Road Transport EU- Import and Export. Experience with ASM sequoia is desired. The position offers 25 days holiday and hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring Compliance: The clerk ensures that all import procedures adhere to regulations set by Border Force, Port Health, and APHA for perishable goods.
- Managing Notifications: They handle and control the notification process for goods entering the UK using the IPAFFS system.
- Customs Declarations: They prepare and submit customs declarations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Documentation: They manage and organize all necessary documentation for customs clearance, including those related to duties and taxes.
