A leading specialist contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex demolition and asbestos removal projects across London and the Southeast. With a commitment to safety and operational excellence, the team operates from a modern head office in Sidcup.

The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for promoting a strong safety culture across all projects. The role is split between 2–3 days per week in the Sidcup head office and the remainder visiting sites across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and enforce health and safety policies and procedures across demolition and asbestos projects
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits, reporting on findings and implementing corrective actions
  • Develop risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
  • Deliver health and safety training and toolbox talks to site teams
  • Liaise with external stakeholders and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards
Requirements
  • Strong experience in health & safety management, specifically within demolition and asbestos removal
  • NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification
  • In-depth knowledge of current health and safety legislation
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to travel to various sites as required
