Are you passionate about empowering people to overcome addiction and build a better future? Red Snapper Recruitment are looking for a proactive and compassionate Recovery Navigator to join our dynamic client working across the Yorkshire and Humber region. You'll deliver in-person support within Probation Delivery Units, helping adult male prison leavers and individuals on community orders take control of their recovery journey.
Please note you must have HMPPS Enhanced Level one vetting.
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber (Hull, East Riding, North East Lincolnshire)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:00
Contract: Full-time

What You'll Do:
- Deliver 1:1 and group interventions using trauma-informed, motivational approaches
- Support engagement with substance misuse services and other key partners
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop SMART, collaborative action plans
- Navigate individuals through treatment, appointments, referrals, and advocacy
- Maintain accurate records using our digital systems
- Contribute to safeguarding, performance targets, and service quality
What You'll Bring:
- Experience working in substance misuse or a related field
- Knowledge of the criminal justice sector and working with high-risk individuals
- A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience) in substance misuse
- Ability to manage a complex caseload and work flexibly across multiple locations
- Strong communication, teamworking, and time management skills
- Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, and equality frameworks
Desirable: lived experience of addiction or imprisonment (with 3+ years in recovery or 5+ years post-release), or subject matter expertise in areas like BAME communities or chemsex.
