We have a position available within our portable cabin refurbishment workshop for a motivated, knowledgeable, and hardworking individual to join our team as a qualified electrician. Nortons is a family company that values its employees and expects the same in return. We have a loyal team, with many workers having been with us for over 10 years, who understand what we look for in an employee. We offer honest, hard work in exchange for fair pay.
The job is based at our Manchester premises in Miles Platting, which has been our home for over 30 years. We undertake a wide range of cabin refurbishment projects, including bespoke designs, external customer refurbishments, and the servicing and repairing of sale cabins.
What do you need to be a successful candidate?
- Having a full set of tools for the job
- Ideally holding a minimum of 2391 electrical and testing certification
- Possessing a full UK driving license
- Being in good physical condition with stamina
- Salary negotiable depending on experience
- Opportunities for further training
- Having a CSCS card for on-site work is preferred but can be arranged for the right candidate
- Being flexible and self-motivated, with occasional requirements to stay away from home
Normal work schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with overtime and Saturday work available.
