We are looking for a confident, creative and curious Senior Growth Manager to help us drive our agency forward through strategic sales and marketing campaigns. This is a senior role, ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced small business and has a proven track record of growing agency revenue.
You will create, drive and deliver on Stratton Craig's sales and marketing strategy, with the objective of building deep, engaging and value-adding relationships with our clients and prospects to ultimately secure quality leads and win new clients.
You will line manage our Business Development and Marketing Assistant, who will support you on database management and mining, execute on outreach campaigns that nurture and grow our database of engaged, high-value prospects. You will also work closely with our long-standing SEO consultant and web developer to continuously improve our website performance, look and feel. You will also work closely with our colleagues across Positive Change Group, feeding into Group Sales and Marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities- Drive insights: With an eye on the outside world, you'll keep abreast of trends and evolution within our key sectors, services and competitors to inform our sales and marketing. Alongside others in the team, you will proactively share these insights with the wider team on a regular basis to ensure we continue to evolve our house view on the things that matter most to our clients and our business.
- Strategy and planning: As a member of our SMT, you will be a key contributor to ongoing proposition development and agency positioning. Working closely with our CEO, you will develop and drive our sales and marketing strategy. You will plan and drive all sales and marketing activity, including our website, insight articles, guides, social content, emails and events. You will be a confident and competent writer and editor, and will also brief others in the team/externally to create content. Responsible for monthly reporting of key sales and marketing metrics, you will provide analysis and recommendations for how to evolve our plans based on these.
- Client and prospect relationships: You will lead the full sales cycle from lead generation and outreach to proposal development, closing and onboarding, coordinating the right team members to support you. With the support of our Business Development and Marketing Assistant you will continually grow, monitor and mine our database to develop and deliver targeted outreach campaigns. You will personally attend industry events to forge connections with clients and prospects and better understand our audience, rolling those insights back into campaigns. You will oversee the ongoing development of our credentials and proposals collateral to deliver on our evolving proposition. You will support the Client Services team in targeted efforts to grow our existing relationships.
- Leadership: Collaborating closely with the agency's leadership team, you will align growth efforts with operational capacity and strategic goals. In your capacity as line manager for the BDMA, you will allocate appropriate tasks and oversee timely completion of deliverables. You will act as a coach and mentor to the BDMA to ensure they develop or improve the skills needed to enable the delivery of our sales and marketing programme.
- Performance measurements: Engagement with our sales and marketing channels and campaigns, lead generation and quality, conversion rate, new client revenue growth.
- 5+ years of sales and marketing experience in a creative agency environment
- Content management and editing / QA experience
- Capable user of Microsoft Office
- Exceptional communication skills, including flawless spelling and grammar
- Project management and organisational skills
- Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM
- Proactive problem-solver combining thought and action
- Innovative and self-driven
- Confident, with strong interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with a clear understanding of objectives
- Professional and amiable in client interactions
- Must be able to work from our Bristol office approx. three days a week, and be prepared to travel for meetings as required
