ISQ Recruitment is supporting a well-established food manufacturer in the Norfolk area, currently looking for a QA Auditor to join their team. This is a factory-based role focused on upholding food safety, hygiene and quality through hands-on auditing and daily checks.
The Role:
- Carrying out audits on quality, hygiene, and food safety standards
- Ensuring compliance with BRC and customer requirements
- Completing checks on line paperwork, weights, temperatures, traceability, and labelling
- Verifying equipment such as checkweighers, thermometers, and metal detectors
- Swabbing and sampling for internal and external analysis
- Supporting site readiness for audits and customer visits
- Investigating complaints, reporting non-conformances, and helping close out corrective actions
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a QA, QC or similar food production role
- Food Hygiene Level 2 (or willingness to complete)
- Attention to detail and confident following structured checks
- Good communication skills and a practical, team-based approach
- Comfortable working on the factory floor and with production teams
- Driving licence and own vehicle due to rural site location
