ISQ Recruitment is supporting a well-established food manufacturer in the Norfolk area, currently looking for a QA Auditor to join their team. This is a factory-based role focused on upholding food safety, hygiene and quality through hands-on auditing and daily checks.

The Role:

  • Carrying out audits on quality, hygiene, and food safety standards
  • Ensuring compliance with BRC and customer requirements
  • Completing checks on line paperwork, weights, temperatures, traceability, and labelling
  • Verifying equipment such as checkweighers, thermometers, and metal detectors
  • Swabbing and sampling for internal and external analysis
  • Supporting site readiness for audits and customer visits
  • Investigating complaints, reporting non-conformances, and helping close out corrective actions

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a QA, QC or similar food production role
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 (or willingness to complete)
  • Attention to detail and confident following structured checks
  • Good communication skills and a practical, team-based approach
  • Comfortable working on the factory floor and with production teams
  • Driving licence and own vehicle due to rural site location
