Consultant Net Zero Carbon (NZC)

We are looking for a Net Zero Carbon Consultant to join our team, who will help our clients navigate their journey to net zero carbon. You will work closely with diverse public and private sector organisations and stakeholders to assess carbon footprints, develop decarbonisation strategies, and implement energy-saving initiatives tailored to their needs.
As a Consultant, you will conduct carbon audits for buildings, operations, and supply chains, and possess expertise in scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions assessment. You will develop decarbonization strategies to help clients achieve net zero goals, assess energy performance, and implement energy efficiency improvements. You will advise on policy and compliance, including MEES, ESOS, and PAS 2060, and analyse energy and sustainability data for reporting. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders, delivering training and raising awareness on carbon reduction, and staying up to date on emerging sustainability trends and technologies.
The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in environmental management or sustainability, with knowledge of UK energy and carbon regulations (ESOS, MEES) and GHG Protocol. They will also have strong analytical and organisational skills, along with a degree in Environmental Science, Energy Management, or a related field. A professional membership is a plus, and a customer-focused, growth-oriented mindset is essential.
This is a genuine opportunity for someone to join a business with a plan to grow from £1.5m turnover to £5m, over the next three to five years.
