A bit about the role
At Clanmil, our tenants and residents are at the heart of what we do, and we want to provide more great homes for families that need them. Our care teams are focused on person-centred care, developing outcome-based support plans, and continually reviewing those to ensure positive improvements. As Senior Carer, you will be maintaining effective record-keeping, administering medication, leading and supporting the team of dedicated staff in providing person-centred care and support services to our residents. You will drive performance through supervision and mentoring of staff, delivering induction and coaching and you will be a strong role model, with residents' needs, dignity and respect at the heart of the role.
A bit about you
If you understand the importance of promoting independence, choice and dignity and are passionate and motivated to make a difference to people's lives, this could be the job for you. We want to hear from you if you have NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care and at least two years experience working in a care/support environment. We'd also like to hear from you if you have five years experience, without an NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care. Your previous experience will include the creation and maintenance of care and support plans, administration of medication and experience of staff supervision in the workplace is also essential. 24hr residential care means this is not just a 9-5 job and 10 sleep ins are essential every month.

You will find further details regarding the qualifications, experience, and skills to succeed in this role, on the job description and person specification.
