Position Overview
The Global Event Production Director is tasked with overseeing and advancing the planning, execution, and quality of production efforts for permanent live attractions. This role is essential in supporting the company’s expansion strategy by ensuring successful project delivery, maintaining high production standards, and achieving operational excellence across each unique line of expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Expansion Support: Develop comprehensive plans for permanent attraction projects by coordinating cross-functional teams to align on goals, budgets, and timelines. Conduct feasibility studies for potential expansion opportunities, assessing resource needs, estimated costs, and operational impacts. Drive the creation of a phased expansion roadmap, aligning with corporate growth strategies.
- Production Oversight & Project Execution: Lead and manage production teams to deliver all projects within the agreed scope, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets. Establish and implement standardized production processes to maintain consistency and quality across various project types and across geographies. Act as a key decision-maker for high-stakes issues related to technical requirements, resource allocation, and vendor selection. Assess current work methods / production workflows / local processes and challenge proposed approaches and provide creative alternatives, suggestions to improve ongoing projects.
- Talent Development & Team Coordination: Build, train, and manage production teams specializing in permanent attractions. Support the professional growth of team members through ongoing training, mentoring, and performance feedback. Ensure local producers have the necessary tools, resources, and guidance. Observe local budget trends; suggest saving opportunities and align with rollout objectives. Standardize communication and reporting for streamlined project tracking. Facilitate knowledge-sharing and troubleshooting between local teams. Foster effective communication and collaboration between regional and global teams to support efficient project delivery.
- Venue Feasibility, Adaptation & Rollout Oversight: Oversee the standardisation of venue feasibility assessments, ensuring locations meet both practical and convenience requirements. Become the central point of assessment for venue adaptations, including physical layout, required adaptations (materials, HVAC and infrastructure modifications) required for installation permanent experiences. Work closely with local producers to streamline venue validation and approval, reducing complexity in decision-making and expediting the adaptation process. Support local teams in building and navigating the venue permitting roadmap (zoning approvals, safety compliance, building permits, etc), ensuring permitting requirements align with local zoning regulations and construction adaptations.
- Technical Implementation & Optimisation: Standardize playbook deployment across all sites and partnerships. Share learnings between operative sites and new developments to anticipate and mitigate technical disruptions. Coordinate vendor relationships and technology requirements across regions. Investigate optimisation opportunities between the various technical platforms to accelerate global expansion.
- Resource, Logistics & Technical Management: Oversee vendor and supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and equipment. Develop logistics and technical support frameworks for efficient equipment handling, transportation, and setup. Optimize asset management by coordinating with logistics teams to track, maintain, and deploy assets across projects. Leverage his network of contacts and suppliers.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: In coordination with the Fever internal Health & Safety team, establish quality control measures and safety standards for all productions, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation. In coordination with the Fever internal Health & Safety team, conduct regular quality and safety audits to maintain the highest production standards. Implement post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and continuously improve production processes.
- Financial Management & Budgeting: Develop guiding principles and value optimisation for production budgets, and ensure consistency and clarity throughout local implementation. Partner with finance to report on expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure projects meet financial goals. Align spending with strategic objectives, implementing controls to avoid overspending without compromising quality.
- Industry Trends & Innovation Integration: Keep up-to-date with emerging trends in live entertainment and permanent attractions to incorporate cutting-edge practices and technologies. Work closely with creative and technical teams to explore new ideas that can enhance audience experience and engagement.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: 8–10 years in live entertainment production with a focus on creative involvement.
- Skills: Strong leadership, creative evaluation, and project management skills; proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Production, Fine Arts, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge: Familiarity with global live entertainment markets, regional nuances, and emerging industry trends.
- Other: Availability to travel internationally as required.
